HACCP audit is carried out by a third-party certification body. Most of them offers options with which to be audited and certificated. This approach allows companies to select audit dates that best suits their customer’s requirements and operations. Compliance to requirements of HACCP by the company and its eligibility for the awarding of certification will be assessed during the HACCP audit.

Your organization’s step-by-step guide to HACCP audit:

• Develop a HACCP system – Contact www.haccp.ae to assist you with the HACCP requirements, HACCP documentation and HACCP implementation. A gap analysis may also be done to study your current organization’s performance against the desired and expected in terms of your compliance with HACCP requirements. HACCP documentation will be given to satisfy the gaps, if any, and requirements of HACCP. Implementation will proceed with the guidance of our consultant.

• Audit preparation – Pre-assessment audit for HACCP will be carried out by our consultant to evaluate the level of your compliance with regard to HACCP requirements. In case there will be non-compliances raised during this pre-assessment audit, haccp.ae will still be at hand to help you address these. A comprehensive audit report will be provided to your organization as reference to the result of this important activity. Whenever appropriate, scope of HACCP system may be determined at this time.

www.haccp.ae has tied up with reputable certification bodies. We can assign a certification body to do the HACCP audit to your organization but you have the option to select your own as well or appoint other certification body as per your preference.

• Audit planning – Provide information to certification body through application for audit preparation and scheduling.

• On-site HACCP audit – Here, there will be opening meeting, facility inspection, document review, review of HACCP implementation, final review of findings and closing meeting to review audit findings and confirm non-conformities, if any.

• Non-conformities and corrective action, if any – Corrective action shall be provided for any non-conformities raised during the on-site audit. Upon certification body review of evidence and found satisfactory, HACCP application will be processed then HACCP certificate will be awarded to your organization.
